The only thing you need to take care off is that you must export your mesh with a neutral rest pose shape (the white stick)<\/p>\n<h3>Creating an Animesh rig out of the box<\/h3>\n<div class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"rhcol span7\">\n<p>when you create your Animesh Project, then we recommend you start with an Animesh Rig from start on. Avastar provides an Animesh Armature in the Add menu:<\/p>\n<p>Add -&gt; Avastar -&gt; 4-Animesh<\/p>\n<p>This creates an Avastar Rig that is already set for making Animesh.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"rhcol span5\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-44264\" src=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/300\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Image-300-851-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"572\" height=\"564\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/300\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Image-300-851-1.png 572w, https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/300\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Image-300-851-1-300x296.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 572px) 100vw, 572px\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"rhcol span7\">\n<p>The most apparent difference to regular Avastar projects is that the sliders panel is disabled. We did this on purpose, because Animesh does not react on any slider settings in world.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Note:<\/span> <\/strong>When you wear the Animesh mesh as regular Mesh on your Avatar, then the mesh actually does react on sliders, but since you want to make an Animesh project this is not relevant for your work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"rhcol span5\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-44268\" src=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/300\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Image-300-851-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"572\" height=\"335\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/300\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Image-300-851-2.png 572w, https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/300\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Image-300-851-2-300x176.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 572px) 100vw, 572px\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Set the Animesh configuration manually<\/h3>\n<p>If you already have created a regular Avastar or if you want to turn your Avatar project into an Animesh project, you only need to change the Shape to White Stick Shape and then disable the Sliders:<\/p>\n<div class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"rhcol span7\">\n<p>Set the Shape to Neutral shape (White Stick)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"rhcol span5\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-44280 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/300\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Image-300-851-3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"572\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/300\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Image-300-851-3.png 572w, https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/300\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Image-300-851-3-300x168.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 572px) 100vw, 572px\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"rhcol span7\">\n<p>Then click the lock icon (on the left) to make sure you will not modify the Shape unintentionally. Make sure that the Skeleton type is set to Animesh then click <em><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Replace Rig<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The result of this Rig replacement is the same as when you had chosen to create an Animesh Rig in first place (see first method above).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"rhcol span5\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-44272\" src=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/300\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Image-300-851-5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"572\" height=\"616\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/300\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Image-300-851-5.png 572w, https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/300\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Image-300-851-5-279x300.png 279w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 572px) 100vw, 572px\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Final notes<\/h3>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">For Newbies:<\/span><\/strong> Please follow the instructions above before you start working on your mesh. This will prevent you from getting headache later.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">For Experts:<\/span><\/strong> It is not strictly necessary to work with the Neutral shape. Avastar can fix that during Export (Use the <em><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Export for Animesh<\/span><\/em> option). But then you lose control over how your meshes will look in SL.
