You can also call it from the 3D View&#8217;s footer menu:<\/p>\n<pre><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Mesh - Snap to Symmetry<\/span><\/pre>\n<p>Note: The symmetry function does neither remove nor add vertices to the mesh. The other side of the upper part of the dress follows automatically.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"rhcol span5\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-44646 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/300\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Image-300-1506.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"409\" height=\"460\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/300\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Image-300-1506.png 409w, https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/300\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Image-300-1506-267x300.png 267w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 409px) 100vw, 409px\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Binding<\/h3>\n<div class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"rhcol span7\">\n<p>Bind the Mesh to the Armature should now be a matter of a few clicks only:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Switch to Mesh Object mode<\/li>\n<li>Select the Mesh and the Armature<\/li>\n<li>Use the <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em>Copy from Meshes<\/em><\/span> option to get the weights from the developer kit.<\/li>\n<li>Select from which meshes you want to get the weights<\/li>\n<li>Make sure the option Clear Targhet Maps is enabled<\/li>\n<li>(optinally) enable smooth weights. This animation can play also in Edit Mode.
