Don&#8217;t make large text explanations.<\/p>\n<div class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"span6 rhcol\">\n<p>Add a brief description<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What fails ?<\/li>\n<li>What do you expect ?<\/li>\n<li>What happens instead ?<\/li>\n<li>How can we reproduce it ?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"span6 rhcol\">\n<p>Describe Your environment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Product number (like <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><em>Avastar-2.4-12<\/em><\/span>)<\/li>\n<li>Name of the installed zip file<\/li>\n<li>Blender version number<\/li>\n<li>Operating system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"symple-box  green center \" style=\"text-align:left;\"> \n<p>Good Example:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>I bind my mesh to a default Avastar Rig by using &#8220;Bind to Armature&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>I try to pose the character, but the mesh keeps as if it is not bound at all.<\/li>\n<li>When i open the Blender console, then i see a huge amount of repeating errors.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Here is an excerpt of the repeating errors:<\/p>\n<pre>Traceback (most recent call last):\n File \"__init__.py\", line 1345, in Avastar\nZeroDivisionError: division by zero<\/pre>\n<p>Reproduce the problem as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the attached blend file<\/li>\n<li>Click the &#8220;Bind to Armature button&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Try to pose the armature<\/li>\n<li>See the errors in the blender console<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"symple-box  red center \" style=\"text-align:left;\"> \n<p>Bad example:<\/p>\n<p>I purchased Avastar the other day, i can not bind my mesh, please help. as i mentioned i use the newest Avastar, it aught to work. so i do not understand why i get issues with that. my project runs out of time and i need a solution as soon as possible. i also can not provide a demo because i do not trust you!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Prepare a .blend file that demonstrates the problem<\/h3>\n<p>Blend files tend to grow quickly in size. Huge files take time to upload and download. And when a file contains many items unrelated to your issue we do not know what to inspect. So, first of all: Create a backup copy of your blend file. then proceed to&#8230;<\/p>\n<h4>Clean up your blend file<\/h4>\n<div class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"rhcol span7\">\n<p>Remove all items from your blend file that are not directly related to the issue.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"rhcol span5\">\n<p>Items we normally do not need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cameras<\/li>\n<li>Lights<\/li>\n<li>Materials<\/li>\n<li>Textures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Purge Orphan Data<\/h4>\n<div class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"rhcol span7\">\n<p>Orphan data is data that is nowhere used in your blender project. You can purge orphans in the Outliner, see image.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Note:<\/span><\/strong> You may have to purge multiple times, because every purge may create new orphans. It is best when you just remove those elements from your model and then purge (see above)<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Note:<\/span><\/strong> If your issue is actually related to Textures and materials you will do the opposite and make sure that you <em><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Pack All into .Blend<\/span><\/em> (see image)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"rhcol span5\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/292\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Image1119.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-6686\" src=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/292\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Image1119.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"445\" height=\"516\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/292\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Image1119.png 445w, https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/292\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Image1119-259x300.png 259w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 445px) 100vw, 445px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Reduce your high poly meshes in size<\/h4>\n<p>In most cases it is sufficient to only keep a small portion of your &#8220;broken mesh&#8221; in the blend file, just enough to show us where things go wrong. Lets say for example you have an odd issue with distortions on a part of your mesh. Blender can do this for you when you save your blend file. You should always take care to save with compression.
