However this rig was made with Avastar-2.0 and it is not compatible with newer versions of Avastar. Here is how to update your Rig to the newest Avastar version. If you have already created mesh attachments then just add your meshes to the selections as described in the steps below.<\/p>\n<div class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"span6 rhcol\">\n<p>Open the <em>Maytreya Mesh Body Kit Complete<\/em> Blend file that you received from the Creator. If you have not yet done so, please proceed by taking a look at the <a href=\"\/help\/toolshelf\/workflows\/presets\/\">Workflow Panel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a safe way to setup the Avastar defaults manually:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open the Rig Display Panel<\/li>\n<li>Make sure the Torso, Arms and Legs are visible (see images below)<\/li>\n<li>Optionally you also can make the Collision Volume bones visible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Again: This is just optional. If that works, then all is well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Important: <\/strong>Once you are done with your testing, then please click the white Stickman icon in the top row of the Appearance Slider Panel. This is to prepare the next step!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong> Some sliders may not have any influence on the Mesh. Please refer to Maitreya documentation which sliders should work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"span6 rhcol\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/279\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Image757.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4818\" src=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/279\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Image757.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"283\" height=\"399\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/279\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Image757.png 283w, https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/279\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Image757-213x300.png 213w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 283px) 100vw, 283px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Fix the Rig<\/h3>\n<p>This is the final step top get your Maitreya Developer Kit back to work:<\/p>\n<div class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"span6 rhcol\">\n<ul>\n<li>Make sure you have clicked the White Stickman Icon<br \/>\nin the appearance Panel (see previous step)<\/li>\n<li>Select the Rig in pose mode or Object mode<\/li>\n<li>Open the Rig Converter Panel<\/li>\n<li>Set Target Rig to Basic<\/li>\n<li>Disable Apply Rot&amp;Scale<\/li>\n<li>Make sure that the checkboxes for <em>Keep Joint edits<\/em> and <em>Generate Tail offsets<\/em> both are enabled.<\/li>\n<li>Then click the Update Rig button<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"span6 rhcol\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/279\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Image758.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4819\" src=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/279\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Image758.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"290\" height=\"605\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/279\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Image758.png 290w, https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/279\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Image758-144x300.png 144w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 290px) 100vw, 290px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Save your work to a new blend file<\/h3>\n<p>Now your Maitreya Developer kit should work with the newest version of Avastar. You may want to store this blend file for future usage.<\/p>\n<p>Optionally you now also can add your just created Blendfile as a new developerkit integration into the developerkit manager. This would give you the benefit that you can setup a new Maitreya project with just one click.<\/p>\n<div class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"span6 rhcol\">\n<ul>\n<li>todo&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"span6 rhcol\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Start your work &#8230;<\/h3>\n<div class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"span6 rhcol\">\n<p>Now you can also use the Avastar Workflows. If you are not familiar with the workflows, then please take a look at the <a href=\"\/help\/toolshelf\/workflows\/presets\/\">Workflow Panel<\/a> document.
