Here you first select a set of vertices in edit mode, then you call the Snap to Mesh function. This will snap your vertices to the closest vertex it can find on any other mesh.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"span6 rhcol\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/279\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Image563.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2791\" src=\"https:\/\/avalab.org\/avastar\/279\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Image563.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"146\" height=\"127\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The maximum snap distance can be adjusted in the operator redo window that appears at the bottom of the tool shelf when you click the Snap to Mesh button.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"span6 rhcol\">\n<p>In the operator redo panel you have a few more options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Snap range: <\/strong>the maximum distance from a vertex to a snap point if a vertex is not close to any snap point then it is marked as out of range.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Snap Selected: <\/strong>You can use this tool only for finding the out of range vertices without actually snapping them<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mark Out of Range verts:<\/strong> After snapping only the out of range verts are marked.
